Kristin Burrell
Kristin Burrell was born in Mesa, Arizona where she began performing at an early age and recently moved to Provo to pursue her masters degree. She studied voice and piano for ten years. She’s taught voice and piano lessons for nine years. Kristin directed over twenty children and youth musicals, dance and choral showcases. She spent the last several years working as a classroom teacher as in grades PreK through twelve. Kristin graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education and Marriage, Family, Human Development. She is now pursuing a masters in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University. Kristin has a passion for the arts and a great desire to share this love with her students. Her enthusiasm and love for life will assist her as she teaches children how to explore and share their world. It is her desire to find ways to help students develop love, faith, hope, wisdom, and understanding.
Maria Nuila
Maria Nuila was born in Guatemala City and is the youngest of three children. She loves reading, playing the violin, and spending time with her family and friends. Maria is currently studying psychology at BrighamYoungUniversity and has enjoyed volunteering with the BYU Multi-cultural club. Her experience in event planning and as a volunteer director has been very rewarding. “No obstacles are insurmountable when God commands and we obey.” Maria looks forward to sharing her talents and love for life as she coordinates projects and activities to reach out to individuals in our community.
